Haiti Relief Effort: Donate Now!

San Diego Sockers Fans,

In support of the relief efforts in Haiti, we have chosen this organization to support because one of our own former players; Jacques Ladouceur, born in Prince Au port, Haiti has a personal attachment. Here is his letter:

Dear Friends,

Please help me raise funds for the relief efforts in Haiti. I know the hearts of the people who started this organization.
The first time I met Harold & Natalie I almost broke down and cried because I realized that an American from California
had been doing more for the people of Haiti than I was. I could not believe these people have been going there for 25 years they just love the Haitian people in a way I had never seen before.

1.       They send medical teams just about every three months to treat people that do not receive any medical care. They have brought back patients to be treated in the U.S. because they could not help them there and the doctors offer their services for free

2.       They  build schools and feed close to 2,500 children a month. This was before the quake.

3.       They build wells for the people to have clean water because very few people have running water in their homes.

4.       They send construction teams to build structures.

These are a few of the things that they do for the Haitian people that really touch our hearts, especially when they bring back pictures.
