A Columbus Ohio native, Carl moved to California in 1981 and grew up as a San Diego teenager, attending Patrick Henry High School. After high school, Carl launched his successful career in the insurance industry. In 1994, Carl founded Target Insurance Services, a general liability insurance company for construction contractors that serves thousands of contractors a year in California. Twelve years later, Professional Employer Network Inc., an industry leading Human Resources solutions firm, was created under Carl’s direction. Today, Carl remains focused on Target Insurance Services and Professional Employer Network while also acting as a Principal of Preferred Contractors Insurance Company Risk Retention and Pacific Re, Inc., both based in Billings, Montana. While not working on insurance deals or the San Diego Sockers, Carl enjoys fine dining and traveling.
