Scott Martin
Born and raised in San Diego, Scott grew up playing for the Nomads Soccer Club and continued on to play on his University of San Diego High School soccer team. He led the team to four Western League Titles and two CIF championships before heading to University of San Diego to play at the collegiate level. Though soccer consumed most of his time at USD, Scott managed to earn his degree in Business Economics. After graduating college, he chose to stay in San Diego and begin working while continuing to play with the newly formed amateur San Diego Fusion and San Diego United outdoor team in the NPSL. In only its second season, Scott helped his team win the national championship in 2007 while being named to the All-NPSL team as a defender.
Scott will be joining the Sockers for the first time this season, but when he is not on the field, he enjoys surfing in Pacific Beach or Carlsbad.
