Clare, Touloute Highlight All-MASL Honorable Mention Team

Matt Clare and Max Touloute were two of the San Diego Sockers' main catalysts for creating goal scoring opportunities.

Already a proven goal scorer, Matt Clare led the team with 18 assists and 4 game-winning goals in the regular season, while also scoring 19 goals himself (2nd on team). He continued his provider role in the playoffs, dishing out 5 more assists. In total, Clare ended the season with 21 goals and 23 assists.

Max Touloute, an offseason acquisition from the Kansas City Comets, often provided a speedy spark to the Sockers offense. His ability to drag defenders away from their position and beat them 1v1 are second to none. His league leading 3 short handed goals prove a testament to his energy, pace and ability to create something out of nothing. Touloute ends the season with 18 goals and 12 assists (2G, 3A in playoffs) and will look to build on his 1st year with the Sockers.
