Kaiser Permanente Named As 2021 Presenting Partner
The San Diego Sockers announced today that Kaiser Permanente was named the exclusive Presenting Partner of the team for the 2021 MASL season. In addition, Kaiser Permanente will continue to serve as the official Healthcare Provider to the sports organization through the 2021-22 season. As per club policy, the terms of the deal were not released.
"Having Kaiser Permanente continuing to partner with us especially at this time, shows the value of our relationship over the past four years,” said Sockers General Manager Sean Bowers. We are excited about the partnership and are committed to supporting Kaiser Permanente now and in the future."
As the official Healthcare Provider, Kaiser Permanente sports medicine physicians will oversee the medical care provided to the team throughout the season.
"The San Diego Sockers embody a healthy, active lifestyle, making our partnership a natural fit," said Michael Lalich, MD, Area Medical Director and Chief of Staff for Kaiser Permanente San Diego County. "Kaiser Permanente is proud to reaffirm our commitment to the team, and support them in their health care needs as they return to the arena and compete in the 2021 Season."
The Sockers (3-2) continue their shortened 2021 MASL season with a two-game road trip beginning Friday against St. Louis. The team will be wearing their iconic early 1980s kits for the game.
