MASL Free Agency Period Begins

The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today initial preparations for 2020-2021. The MASL will lift the roster freeze that has been in effect since February and allow teams to start building their rosters for the future.

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, July 1, the MASL will lift the roster freeze and open the Free Agency period. Players with expired contracts are free to sign with any MASL team at this time. The complete list of players eligible will be available on MASLSoccer.com as soon as the Free Agency Period begins.

The launch of the Free Agency period signals an official end to the 2019-2020 season. In an earlier announcement, the MASL Board of Directors voted to recognize the Monterrey Flash and Florida Tropics respectively as the Western and Eastern Conference Regular Season Champions with no further competitions or tournaments to conclude the season.
