One Kitchen Collaborative Named Official Caterer

The San Diego Sockers - presented by Kaiser Permanente - today announced a partnership with One Kitchen Collaborative as the team’s official caterer. As per Club rules, the terms of the agreement were not released. 

One Kitchen Collaborative creates solutions to reduce food waste while addressing food insecurity in the community through its catering, food production, and education programs. With a vision of becoming a model of zero waste supporting hunger relief.

"As we prep for our move to Oceanside, we are finding new partners to work with and One Kitchen Collaborative is a hidden gem that we discovered,” said Sockers General Manager Sean Bowers. "In addition to providing delicious food for our pre-game meals and special events, they are supporting the community in various ways that align with our ideals.”  

As the official caterer, One Kitchen Collaborative will provide the pre-game meals for all home games and also catering for the team’s special events like the Season Ticket Member Appreciation Event and the Sockers Charity Golf Classic.

"It is an absolute honor to support San Diego's beloved Sockers in their final season at Pechanga Arena. We're so grateful to Sean and the entire Sockers organization for the opportunity to fuel their incredible athletes with delicious, nutritionally sound meals,” stated One Kitchen Collaborative Director of Administration Crystal Johnson.

Johnson continued, “The Sockers are a San Diego institution. Having them recognize and support our non-profit's mission to reduce food waste and support hunger relief, speaks volumes about their priorities and we couldn't think of a better team to align with. As proud Oceanside locals, we look forward to the Sockers making Frontwave Arena their home in 2024!"
