San Diego Sockers Announce New Title Sponsor: LA Fitness

Sockers sign Health and Fitness club L.A. Fitness for 2016-2017 season 

14-Time Indoor Soccer Champions have signed National Health and Fitness club L.A. Fitness as the Title Sponsor for the 2016-2017 Major Arena Soccer League Season. After three successful years with premium seafood supplier, Bumble Bee Foods, Sockers have agreed to a one-year deal with LA Fitness.

LA Fitness was founded in southern California in 1984 and has grown to over 800 health clubs across the United States and Canada. The LA Fitness logo will feature prominently on the front of all San Diego Sockers Match Day jerseys until the end of the 2016-2017 season, with an option to continue for the subsequent season. LA Fitness will also have considerable in-arena branding, a considerable digital presence and access to Sockers' player imaging rights.

In return, San Diego Sockers will have access to any LA Fitness clubs in the nation, special fitness programs designed for players and cross promotional opportunities. Former Sockers player and current Director of Player Personnel Miguel “Chiky” Luna commented, “It’s a fantastic partnership that will help us tremendously this season. We expect the team be even fitter this season as we challenge for out 15^th Championship and LA Fitness provides the perfect place to achieve our goals.”

Matrix Fitness facilitated the title sponsorship deal for LA Fitness and will appear on the upper right sleeve of all Sockers jerseys this season. Matrix Fitness will contribute cash considerations and fitness machines for San Diego Sockers use.
