Sockers 2 Players Named To MASL 2 TOTW

The San Diego Sockers 2 had three players named to the MASL 2 Team of the Week (TOTW) for the first two weeks of the season. The performances of goalkeeper Jean Antione (.714 save % and 2 goals allowed), forward Andy Lorei (3 goals), and defender Mike Mercuriali earned them TOTW honors for week one. Lorei (4 goals & 1 assist) and Mercuriali (2 goals) were named to the week two TOTW for their efforts against the Fury II in Ontario.  San Diego won both games against Ontario to start the season.
