Sockers 2 Rout Ontario 14-4 To Remain Unbeaten

The Sockers 2 set a team record for the most goals in a game by routing the Fury II, 14-4, in Ontario on February 17. Eli Galbraith-Knapp (4-0=4) scored four goals, Ismael Rojo (3-0=3) added a hat trick, and Chad Hagerty (0-5=5) had five assists. Five other Sockers 2 players tallied goals including Sean Callahan and Christian Felix who both had two goals and one assist. League-leading goalkeeper Yair Aguilar allowed only one goal in the 33 minutes he played to earn the win. The previous team record for goals was set on January 20 against Arizona. San Diego will play back-to-back matches next weekend in Arizona (2/23) and Las Vegas (2/24) to conclude the road portion of their MASL2 schedule.
