Sockers 2 Rout Ontario Fury II, 9-4, Improving To 2-0

Sean Callahan (4-1=5) had a four-goal game and his second consecutive hat-trick to lead the San Diego Sockers 2 to a 9-4 win over the visiting Ontario Fury II on Friday afternoon. San Diego (2-0) had complete control of the match from the start. Evan Myers (2-0=2), Alexis Velela (1-1=2) and Rene Flores (1-0=1), each scored to extend their goal streaks to two games. First-year forward Ma'Cain Jayvon-Spraging (1-1=2) scored his first goal of the season. Goalkeeper Yari Aguilar made seven saves to earn the victory. Ontario's Marcus Jordan (2-1=3) had two of the Fury II's fourth-period goals using the sixth attacker. The Sockers 2 return to action on Sunday, 12:35 p.m. to host Las Vegas.
