The Ron Newman Cup playoffs for 2022 will see the league’s three division winners qualify for the playoffs, along with the next five-best overall records. Teams will be seeded 1 v 8, 2 v 7, 3 v 6, and 4 v 5, and each round will consist of a best-of-three series. Games One and Two of each series are full-length matches, with fifteen minutes of Extra Time to be played after Game Two in case of a 1-1 tie. The Sockers have clinched their division, and are currently in first place in the standings table (21-0-1, 60 points). The semi-final round and finals rounds are expected to be concluded in the two weeks following the quarterfinals, although the finals round could be delayed a week or more due to arena availabilities.

The Sockers’ regular season has two more home matches remaining, including Thursday’s “Nopening Night” against the Florida Tropics at 7:35pm, with $5 GA tickets, free parking, and $2 Bud Lights for sale. The regular season concludes Sunday at 5:05pm against Ontario on Fan Appreciation Night, with a Ze Roberto t-shirt giveaway for all fans.
