Sockers Partner with Helen Woodward Center

SAN DIEGO – January 5, 2016 – The San Diego Sockers, 14-time Indoor Soccer Champions, have partnered with Helen Woodward Animal Center as their preferred animal adoption organization for 2017.

As part of the agreement between the two organizations, Helen Woodward Animal Center will be the presenting organization for Pet Appreciation Night with the Sockers, and signage around the team’s home venue, Valley View Casino Center.

“We are very excited to forge this new partnership,” said San Diego Sockers Director of Marketing & Public Relations. “Helen Woodward Animal Center shares our commitment to family friendly events and in supporting the local community in every way possible.”

Helen Woodward Animal Center will also leverage the new partnership with the Sockers to support national adoption campaigns, bring awareness to the organization and other exciting opportunities. Details on some of those exciting opportunities will be announced during the 2016-17 season, starting with the Sunday January 8^th game vs Ontario Fury at the Valley View Casino Center pre-game fan fest from 2pm-4pm!
