Sockers To Play For Team Mexico

The Empire Strykers have announced Team Mexico's roster for the upcoming USA vs. Mexico — MASL Edition showdown, set for Sunday, November 8, at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California. Headlining the Mexican squad is international soccer star Marco Fabián, who will lead a lineup featuring established Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) players and women's indoor soccer talent against the United States.
The highly anticipated rivalry returns to Ontario with a 6 p.m. kickoff, bringing together male and female players from both countries for a special mixed-roster indoor soccer match.
For Mexico, much of the attention will center on Fabián, whose international résumé makes him one of the most accomplished players participating in the event.
A gold medalist with Mexico at the 2012 London Olympic Games, Fabián also represented his country at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and the 2018 tournament in Russia. His professional career has included spells with prominent clubs such as Chivas Guadalajara, Cruz Azul, Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, and Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer.
Now representing the Empire Strykers in the MASL, Fabián has brought his international experience to the indoor game, becoming a familiar figure to soccer supporters throughout Southern California.
Joining Fabián on the Mexican men's roster are fellow Strykers Brandon Gomez, Alan Pérez and Polo Hernandez, giving Mexico an established core of players familiar with the indoor game and the Toyota Arena playing surface.
The squad also features Charlie Gonzalez, Cesar Cerda, Luis Ortega and Mitchell Cardenas from the San Diego Sockers, along with Guerrero Pino of the Kansas City Comets. Salvador Carillo, Ismael Rojo and Manuel Rojo round out the listed men's players.
Mexico's women's contingent features several representatives from the Empire Strykers' women's program, including Angela Noemi Morales Rizo, Valerie Cortez, Mimi Rangel, Julia Gomez, Jennifer Ortega Reyes and Alexis Macias.
Additional women's players include Fernanda Serallano, Mitzy Geurca, goalkeeper Miah Vega-Zavala, Johanna Rosas and Desarea Felix.
The combination of men's and women's players will give Mexico a diverse lineup for the international exhibition, with talent representing multiple indoor soccer organizations.
For Fabián, the November 8 matchup presents another opportunity to wear Mexico's colors in front of a Southern California audience. His presence gives local supporters the chance to watch an Olympic champion and World Cup veteran compete alongside established professional indoor soccer players.
The USA vs. Mexico rivalry has become a recurring attraction at Toyota Arena, with the Empire Strykers hosting previous editions of the international matchup.
Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. PT on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Toyota Arena in Ontario. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
