Sockers2 Drop 7-4 Decision To Ontario For First Loss
The San Diego Sockers2 (3-1) lost their first game of the season, 7-4, to the Fury II on Sunday evening in Ontario. Rene Flores had two goals and two assists to lead San Diego in the losing effort. Ontario (2-2) jumped out to a 3-1 halftime lead and the Sockers2 could not recover. The Fury II had three players, Mo Gueye, Abdul Mansaray, and Barnable Newoui, with goals each. San Diego returns to action on Friday, February 4 to meet the Turlock Express for a road contest that kicks off at 7:00pm.
