Sockers2 Get Needed Win Over Express 11-5


The San Diego Sockers2 (2-5-1, 7 pts) returned to the win column with an 11-5 victory over the visiting Turlock Cal Express (1-8-0, 2 pts) on Saturday afternoon at Pechanga Arena. Jonathan Reboledo led San Diego's balanced offensive attack by scoring three goals, while five others tallied markers in the win. 

After an even first period, the Sockers2 took control of the contest by scoring five goals in the second quarter. San Diego's largest lead was at 10-4 midway in the third. Cesar Pardo, Luis Perez and Brian Rodriguez each scored two goals. Jason Payne added a tally to round out the scoring for San Diego.

Xavier Snaer-Williams earned the win during his play in the first half, before giving away to Yayo Olvera in goal for the second half. 

Adrian Zavala had two goals to lead the Express. Goalkeeper Robert Sama took the loss.

San Diego returns to play on Saturday, March 18 again at the Club Depotivo Baja California in Mexico
