Sockers2 Win 5-4 In Overtime To Sweep Turlock
Edger Alvarez scored an unassisted golden goal to lift the Sockers2 to a 5-4 overtime win over the Turlock Express on Saturday at the Turlock Indoor Center. San Diego (5-1) scored four straight goals to erase a 3-0 second-period Turlock lead, but only to see the Express tie the game midway through the fourth. Jason Payne, Alan Garcia, Alalberto Castellanos, and Jamie Velazquez found the back of the net for the Sockers2. Xavier Snaer-Williams earned the win in goal. San Diego, who also won 10-3 last night in Turlock, returns to action on Friday, February 25, 2:00pm against the Express at Pechanga Arena San Diego.
